Although only some of our children were able to visit the festival, although they are hoping to go this weekend. Those that did had a wonderful discussion about which one was the best and why. The children were able to look at all the entries and took a vote ….. Their Winner being

A big thank you to the firefighters at Hitchin Fire Station and the Metropolitan River Police for coming in and showing the children what you do. From playing with the hoses, trying on the hats and handcuffing each other the children had a wonderful time and learnt a lot in the process.
Once again the children had a lovely visit to the library to celebrate the start of Book Start Week. Lots of stories, read, songs sung and a few giggles to add to the fun. Thank you Hitchin Library – see you again soon.
We have had a wonderful visit from Ark Farm to support our learning about animals. The children got to meet lots of different animals; including rabbits, guinea pigs, hens and a sugar glider. They were able to pet and feed them, with the two dogs liking to eat the carrots, unusually! There was
