We recognise the vital role that all parents and carers have as a child’s first and foremost educators, and we aim to work closely with families to ensure the best outcomes for our children.

There are regular opportunities throughout each term to meet with staff.  We will discuss your child’s 2-year check with you and their settling in period.  There are two parents’ evenings a year.

We also record and share each child’s learning activities with you via our online journal package.  This makes communicating with you easy and will allow you to follow your child’s progress closely.

Once your child is settled, you will have the opportunity to visit the Pre-school and Nursery at a Stay and Play session.  This session will give you the chance to see your child’s learning in the setting and to support the learning activities taking place that day.

You will also have the opportunity to watch your child in our regular seasonal concerts and performances.

We invite all parents and carers to get involved with Tilehouse Street by helping out in the sessions, joining us on outings, helping to fundraise and by joining the Parent Trustee Committee.
