At Tilehouse Street Pre-school and Nursery, we aim to provide the highest standards of care and education.

We are committed to

  • Building a culture of safety in which children are protected from abuse and harm
  • Responding promptly and appropriately to all incidents or concerns of abuse that may occur and to working effectively with statutory agencies
  • Empowering young children though our early years curriculum by promoting their right to be strong, resilient and listened to

We have a range of policies in place to ensure the rights and safety of children.  These include, among others, policies for

  • Children’s rights and entitlements
  • Safeguarding children
  • Looked after children
  • Uncollected Child
  • E-safety

You are entitled to make a formal complaint about any aspect of your child’s experience that gives you cause for concern.  The procedure for making a complaint is available to you on request, as is the contact number for OFSTED.

Other Policies

We also have a wide range of policies relating to inclusion, safety, health, record keeping and staff training.

Please ask the Pre-school and Nursery Leader if you would like to view any of our policies and procedures, and or to discuss any of them with her.
